Poughkeepsie - D 10 to 15 Terrain 1

Start at Morgan Lake on Creek Road in the town of Poughkeepsie (1/2 mile south of Dutchess Comm. College). This is the northern terminus of the Dutchess Rail Trail. We will take a 10 mile tour of the City of Poughkeepsie, including crossing the Mid Hudson Bridge to Johnson/Iorio Park. We will have an opportunity to hear Joseph Bertolozzi's "Bridge Music" as well as see some of the more prominent architecture of the city. We will also do the newest section of the Dutchess Rail Trail if it is open.
