Summer Picnic and Ride / Business Meeting A/B/C/D Rides 10-35 Miles
Rides for all levels on lightly traveled scenic roads in the Town of LaGrange, Union Vale andWashington. Subs, hotdogs and refreshments will be provided upon completion of the rides. A business meeting will follow lunch. In event of rain, lunch will begin at 1 2:30. Rides start at Freedom Park, LaGrange at 9:30 a.m. Directions: From Poughkeepsie; Rt.55 eastbound crossing under the Taconic Parkway. Make your first left after the parkway onto Velie Road. Proceed to the end ofVelie Road and make a right onto Skidmore Road. Travel 2 miles to the park entrance on your right. We have a small pavilion on the right as you enter the park. From the East: Rt. 55 westbound. Just before the Taconic Parkway turn right onto Velie Road. Proceed to the end ofVelie Road and make a right onto Skidmore Road.
