Mid-Hudson Bicycle Club

The Mid-Hudson Bicycle Club is a recreational club founded in 1966. Its goal is to enhance member's enjoyment of cycling by offering organized rides and activities and various informational programs. The club promotes and encourages cycling by providing safe, pleasant opportunities to bicycle. Membership is open to anyone interested in cycling, from a beginning cyclist up to an expert.

Gunks Mountain Biking Association Looking for Volunteers

The Gunks Mountain Biking Association (www.gumba.org) is a volunteer
organization that does mountain bike patrols of Minnewaska State Park and
the Mohonk Preserve, trail work at both, and bicycling advocacy around the
Shawangunk Ridge.

The patrols at Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve protect the
land and the people who use it. We assist visitors, report emergencies, and
promote safety.

They offer a comprehensive training for those interested in riding patrol on
Saturday April 26th from 9:30 am till 2:30 pm at the Mohonk Preserve
Visitor Center on Rt. 44/55.

2008 Colgate Weekend

A great inexpensive opportunity for country road bicycling and meeting great bicycling people. Stay in Colgate apartments and eat at their very nice cafeteria before riding with members of the Rochester Bicycle Club, the Onondaga Cycle Club, and the Mohawk Bicycle Club. We’ll have a very flat century on Saturday. Make plans & get your name to Brian and Geri early.

New Saturday Morning Training Rides in Red Hook

Ride leaves from Taste Budds Cafe on East Market Street (Rt 199 next to KeyBank) in the Village of Red Hook at 9:00 a.m. each Saturday, year-round, weather permitting. Winter rides may be shortened due to temps, but will be planned. Ride will take one of three routes (hilly, flat, or mixed) into the southwestern section of Columbia County. Late arrivals can pick up the ride at the post office in Elizaville around 9:30 a.m. Until this ride becomes well established, riders must contact the ride leader to confirm the ride.
